Scheduled Maintenance
Just like you get oil changes to help prevent problems with your vehicle, we sometimes do preventative maintenance to ensure our system stays healthy and your service with us is at its best.
Sometimes this maintenance can temporarily impact your service, and if that’s the case you’ll find a detailed alert below.
AMINO BOX SUBSCRIBERS: Recent updates to your Amino Cable TV receiver may have caused it to power cycle. You should see a blue light on the front of the receiver. If your TV screen remains black though the blue light is visible, please try powering on the television itself with the remote that came with your TV.
CLASSIC TV SUBSCRIBERS: As of July 10, 2022, some changes were made to the Classic Cable TV channel line-up that impacted the channel order (no channels were removed from the line-up). These changes were required for us to continue offering the Classic Cable services while also supporting our expansion plan, which includes offering the latest technology of HD TV service – Rogers Ignite – and faster internet speeds. Subscribers that remain on the Classic Cable service beyond this date may begin/continue to experience issues on all channels, as well as the guide.
If you haven’t already, you will need to complete a channel scan on your television in order to access your available programming. If you’re unsure how to do this, you can call our Customer Support Team for assistance.
We want to ensure that everyone receives a superior television experience, and to do this, we strongly encourage our Classic Cable subscribers to upgrade to our IPTV service. This service includes more channels with an improved picture and sound quality, and in most cases, saves you money with a lower monthly rate! Contact us at 705-887-6433 (option 3) for details on special offers on this service.
